A MANAGER at Care South’s home care office in Crewkerne put her best foot forward to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society.
Lyn Couldwell was joined by her husband and two dogs on the 6k Memory Walk through the picturesque Yeovil Country Park and they raised £155 in sponsorship for the charity.
“We really enjoyed talking part in this amazing walk and are proud to be raising funds for the Alzheimer’s Society,” said Lynn, who is the domiciliary care operations manager at Care South’s Crewkerne office.
“We had a great day and would like to thank all the friends, family and Care South staff who donated to the cause.”
Similar memory walks are taking place in many different locations across the UK and aim to encourage people of all ages and abilities to come together in celebrating and fundraising for people affected by dementia.
