PUPILS at Greenfylde First School in Ilminster are looking forward to using their new dance and drama studio.
The Greenfylde Annexe was once the domestic science hut of the original school based at Greenfylde, so having the building back in use has reunited the original school buildings.
Headteacher Claire Oaten said: “This facility, which has been upgraded for the pupils' use, offers even more opportunities in our continuing program of development at Greenfylde.
“We are already fortunate to be one of the few schools to offer a swimming pool on site and now we are extending our specialist facilities with our dance and drama studio.
“Our focus last year on the Arts has set the impetus for the continued development of the Arts at Greenfylde and we look forward to using this facility with the pupils.”
The building is on the car park behind the school off Wharf Lane.
