CHILDREN at St Andrew’s Primary Academy in Chardstock have been raising money for an animal sanctuary.
At the school’s May Fair, which is run annually by the Friends of School, children in Years 5 and 6 Years Five and Six ran fundraising stalls.
The children were split into teams and were given a small budget to invest.
Mrs Gilmour-White, the class teacher, supported each class in creating products to sell based on the principals of reduce, reuse and recycle. Each team then designed and made a product to sell.
The teams in total raised an amazing £181.23 that was donated to Ferne Animal Sanctuary.
