Crews called out to oil spillage in Chard property
Firefighters were called to reports of a spillage of thermo oil within the first floor of a commercial premises on Furnham Road, Chard, yesterday evening.
Two appliances from Chard together with the environmental protection unit from Taunton were mobilised.
Crews confirmed that the leak had been isolated by on site engineers and the building had been evacuated. The leak had been contained and had not entered the drains.
Just after 7pm the incident was handed over to the site engineer.
