Driver in 'critical condition' as police appeal for witnesses to crash near Ilminster
POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a two-car collision on the B3168 at Seavington yesterday.
The collision happened at just before 3pm in New Road and involved a Saab and a Toyota Rav 4.
A spokesman for Avon and Somerset police said: "The driver of the Saab suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to hospital for treatment. He remains in a critical condition.
"If anyone saw the collision, or have information which could assist the investigation, please call PC Andy Grigg at the Collision Investigation Unit via 101 and quote log 475 of 13/1."
