A FUNERAL director in Chard is inviting people to add a star to their remembrance Christmas tree and make a donation to charity.
Barry Gibbs, of B. Gibbs Funeral Services in Fore Street. said he will match all the donations made.
He said: “We’d like to invite any member of the public who may have a lost a loved one, however long ago, to call in and place a personal remembrance star on the tree.
“If you would like to make a small donation at the same time there’s a collection for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
“This is a charity close to our hearts as the daughter of a good friend is currently receiving support for her battle with lymphoma.
“In the New Year we will match the donations collected and publish the amount raised.”
