SOMERSET wide charity, Friendship Force, is giving people the opportunity to travel to New Zealand, meet new people and see past the tourist sites.
The group is affiliated to Friendship Force International based in Atlanta, which is a non-profit, non-political, non-religious organisation.
Their aim is to promote world peace and understanding by creating an environment where individual friendships can be established across barriers that separate people.
The idea is that the visiting nation meets up with a host club in the country and they are matched with people of similar interest and get to experience the life, culture and attractions of the country.
Friendship Force Somerset is holding a meeting on Saturday, December 6, for people to talk with people who have travelled with the group and find out how they can take part in one of the trips.
The meeting will take place at Wells Town Hall, at 2.30 for 3pm.
