DEPRESSION affects many people worldwide, so wouldn't it be great if those stresses could be lifted in a split second?
Past life and aura expert Jenny Smedley who has recently moved from Taunton to Bishopswood, said her depression was immediately lifted and life turned around after she saw a man on TV.
She said: "I had been depressed for a long time, and was watching TV when someone came onto the screen, at the time I didn't know who it was but immediately my depression vanished.
"I often heard people say their life changed in a second, but didn't believe it could happen.
"When I was depressed I had put on weight, but after that I started to get things together, and was back to who I was before."
Jenny also found she had new talents as a songwriter, author and presenter.
But Jenny was puzzled about the man who turned out to be American country music singer, Garth Brooks, and why he had such a huge affect on her.
She found realised she had known him from a past life and went for regression to learn more.
She said: "I remembered vividly living in the 17th Century, in Hampshire, as Madeleine Fitzgerald, married to Ryan Fitzgerald, and this man looked exactly like a younger Garth Brooks.
"Ryan and Madeleine were tragically and prematurely torn apart, and Madeleine never knew what had become of him."
From then on Jenny attracted wide media attention from America and has since done over 350 worldwide radio interviews as well as several TV appearances.
There was one last thing for Jenny to do, and that was overcome her fear of flying and travel to America to meet Garth.
She said: "I talked to him about Madeline and Ryan and he was fascinated by it all."
Jenny now writes six columns in four countries for national magazines, and has had five books commercially published.
She added: "It is now my role in life to be a seed planter, getting people to ask questions, making people think about life more instead of rushing through it."
