PEOPLE in Chard are being reminded there is silverware up for grabs for the best decorated home this Christmas.
Chard Mayor John Malcolm has organised the competition this year and a team of highly-trained judges is set to view the entries on the new date of tomorrow (Monday, December 18), between 5.30pm and 6.30pm.
There are two categories - best externally decorated home and best externally decorated communal property.
The communal properties category is for places like care homes, sheltered housing schemes, joined up properties such as flats and terraced homes where a display crosses more than one home, a coordinated street display and places of work outside the town centre.
JUDGING is also set to take place in the best dressed shop window in Chard this week - see next week's News for details.
