Alan, 67, who has taken part in many charity events, including five sponsored parachute jumps, has raised over £10,000 over the years.
Charities he has collected for include The Laurel Centre, Chard Skate Park and Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital.
He said: "A lot of people know me for doing lots of fundraising and have given generously.
"I'd like to thank Simon Fisher for all his help as well as everyone who gave to the fund."
Angela Bundy, 45, mother of spinal muscular atrophy sufferer Sarah, 24, said the money would be a great addition to the charity.
She said: "I always see Alan raising money with his bucket and the money for the Jennifer Trust will make a real difference to a lot of people."
