CHARD Town Council is seeking professional help in a bid to stop a flooding problem at the Guild-hall.
As reported, heavy rain causes storm water from the roof of the building to flow from the main drain pipe into a service duct and then into the building.
The problem has caused flood damage in the dressing rooms at the back of the building and the town council has put in an insurance claim to repair the damage. But recent heavy rains have caused the problem to resurface.
Town clerk John Furze said: "It's a concern but we are getting professional help in."
