Giant Easter eggs raise funds in Ilminster

MEMBERS of Ilminster Lions Club have been having an eggs-cellent time over Easter by giving away giant chocolate eggs.
Draws to win a big egg took place over the weekend at the George Inn in Donyatt, the Stonemasons in Ilminster, the Five Dials at Horton, the Rose and Crown at East Lambrook, the Royal Oak at Ilminster and the New Inn at Dowlish Wake.
Two draws had already been made at Bonners Butchers in Ilminster where a whopping £540 was raised for Lions’ and other charities. The winners at the Bonners draws were both from Ilminster – Mrs Taylor and Mrs Carrick.
Organisers would like to thank everyone who took part in the draws and congratulate those lucky enough to win.
