NEW signing Michael Woods is hoping to re-start his football career with Yeovil Town.
Woods, who signed non-contract terms at Huish Park yesterday, boarded the coach with this new team-mates this morning as they left to make the long journey north ahead of tomorrow's npower League One clash at Carlisle United.
The former Leeds United and Chelsea youngster has been troubled by injury, but hopes to put that behind him with the new challenge at Yeovil.
Woods, speaking to the BBC, said: "I left Leeds United, whilst I was at school, to come down to Chelsea as a schoolboy and had two or three really good years there.
"But the last two have been a real struggle with injuries. But thankfully now - touchwood - they're behind me.
"I'm looking forward to getting back and getting some games and helping Yeovil climb up the table."
