FORMER Holyrood Academy student Sarah Body is busy fundraising for the trip of a lifetime later this year.
Sarah, 19, who is studying Geography at Plymouth University, is planning to trek to Machu Picchu in Peru in June to raise money for Childreach International.
The charity helps children in developing countries including Tanzania, Nepal, India, Bangladesh and Cambodia.
Sarah, who comes from Chard, said: “Childreach helps with education, health and child rights and protection.”
She needs to raise £2,500 for the trek – 60% will go to the charity and the rest will help with trip expenses.
“I’m really excited about going on the trek,” added Sarah. “Not only do you get the experience of trekking through the Andes but you also get the chance to raise some money for a good cause.”
