PEOPLE across the Chard and Ilminster area supported the national Jeans for Genes Day by donning their denims.
Jeans for Genes provides funding for the care and support of children with genetic disorders. They also help to fund research into genetics and the development of effective treatments and cures.
Among those who supported the event were taff at Poole and Co Solicitors in Ilminster and the Sunnymeade Residential Home in Chard.
Poole and Co, who recently took over Bake and Duke in Ilminster, want to play a more prominent role in the community and take part in a series of charity events – starting with Jeans for Genes Day.
Meanwhile, staff at Sunnymeade wore their jeans with proceeds split between Jeans for Genes and the home’s residents’ amenities fund.
