PUPILS from five schools in the Chard, Ilminster and Crewkerne area made a splash at the annual pentagon schools’ swimming gala.
Children from Combe St Nicholas, Neroche, Ashill, Buckland St Mary and Winsham primary schools battled it out at Crewkerne Aqua Centre.
The youngsters were mixed up into five teams and each team was named after a sea creature.
They competed against each other in various relay races, with the Eels team named overall winners.
