CHARD’S Sainsbury’s store has named the Children’s Hospice South-West as its charity for the next year.
The charity, which supports families with children suffering from life-limiting illnesses, is set to benefit from money donated through fundraising, as well as time give by Sainsbury’s staff as volunteers.
It was chosen after nominations flooded in from customers keen to support the cause.
Ian Chappell, Sainsbury’s Chard store manager, said: “Children’s Hospice South-West is such as worthy cause and we’re pleased and proud to be supporting it over the next 12 months.”
