A WEEK of activity to disrupt drug supplies across Avon and Somerset led to 69 arrests and the seizure of drugs and weapons.
Drugs with a street value of £158,000 were discovered, including £51,000 of heroin, £53,000 of cocaine and £23,000 of cannabis.
In addition, 15 cannabis factories were uncovered, 846 cannabis plants recovered and weapons seized, including a crossbow and a Samurai sword.
Of the 69 arrested, 31 were charged - 19 for offences involving Class A drugs.
Other enquiries are ongoing.
A focus of the operation was on recovering money and other assets under the Proceeds of Crime Act.
Officers seized £29,000 and a motorcycle suspected of being obtained as a result of criminality.
During National Tackling Drugs Week, Avon and Somerset Constabulary announced that £875,000 was confiscated from drug dealers last year, with one criminal ordered to repay £152,000.
Assistant Chief Constable Jackie Roberts said: "Everyday we’re busy conducting operations to disrupt and destroy the supply of drugs throughout Avon and Somerset.
“National Tackling Drugs Week gives us a chance to highlight some of this work and the results we’re achieving.
“We’ve disrupted the supply chain by arresting drug dealers and seizing a substantial amount of drugs.
“I’m extremely pleased with our results, but we continue with our determined efforts to identify and bring to justice those involved in the supply and abuse of drugs.
”I’d also like to extend my thanks to the partner agencies who took part in the week and who I know share our determination to remove drugs from our streets."
