THE Ilminster-based Harlequin Carnival Club held its annual sponsorship draw on Saturday.
Local companies were invited to enter the annual sponsorship draw for the sum of £25 each.
The winning company will have its name on the back of the club's sweatshirts and overalls, on all of Harlequin's advertising merchandise, and also an advertising plaque on the generator which travels to all of the Carnivals.
Harlequin's sponsor last year was Townsend Garage, of Tintinhull, and the club would like to thank them for all of their help and support throughout the 2007 Carnival season.
And, for the second year running and by the luck of the draw, the winning sponsor for Harlequin's 2008 Carnival season is once again Townsend Garage.
Harlequin would like to thank the following firms who took part in the sponsorship draw: A & C Joinery; A J Meats; Ash Bros; Auto Refinishers; Bayley Electrical; Beviss & Beckingsale; Broomhead & Saul; CCM (SW) Ltd; Colin Mear Engineering; Datapath Office Network Services; Derbyshire Estate Agents; G Fisher Transport; Harper Dolman & West; Homebase - Taunton; Minsterstone Ltd; Norway Racing; P & R Hurt; Parker Hannifin Ltd; RGS (Rob Shaddick Groundwork); Rakon (Europe) Ltd; Richard Carbin Ltd; Rowswell Construction Ltd; Samson Office Supplies Ltd; The Bell Inn; and Townsend Garage.
