CALL OUT: Firefighters from Chard were called to Wooley Lane following reports of a car fire
FIREFIGHTERS rushed to Wooley Lane near Chard following reports a car was smoking after a crash.
One fire engine from Chard was sent to the incident at 5.54pm yesterday (June 7).
When crews arrived they confirmed there had been a two car crash.
Firefighters used small tools to make the vehicles safe.
An ambulance was also called to the incident to help a man who was complaining of chest pains after the crash.
Police also attended the incident.
It is not yet known if the man's injuries are serious.
