WITNESSES are being sought after a man was left with a broken nose after an attack near a pub in Chard.
Police are appealing to members of the public for help after a man was assaulted.
A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police said: "The victim was leaving the Phoenix pub in High Street at about midnight on December 30.
"At some time between then and 3am the following morning (December 31) he was attacked and when he woke up he was bleeding and had a broken nose.
"We’d like to speak to anyone who may have been in the Phoenix pub or the area that night who might have witnessed something."
