Chard & Ilminster News:

A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police said: "We need your help to find vulnerable Vasco Macedo, who is missing from the Chard area of Somerset.

"Vasco is described as a white man, about 5ft 7ins tall of slim to medium build with green eyes, dark brown curly hair and a goatee-style beard. He also has a distinctive walk as his feet point inwards.

"He is wearing a black bomber-style short leather jacket, black trousers black work boots, black hat and gloves.

"Vasco does not speak much English and may appear shy and introverted.

"He likes to hide in disused buildings and usually roams around at night time. He regularly visits the Jocelyn Park and reservoir areas in Chard.

"He has gone missing before that has been found sleeping rough in the past. We would urge dog walkers to keep a lookout for Vasco if they are out in local fields or wooded areas.

"We would also urge householders to check garden outbuildings and sheds just in case he seek refuge from the poor weather conditions."

Anyone who sees Vasco is asked to call 999 quoting reference 5218009148.
