WHAT is your favourite spot in Somerset for taking pictures?

The Glastonbury Tor? Burrow Mump? Longrun Meadow? Kilve Beach? Porlock Hill?

Well, a new interactive map launched by the Somerset Camera Club, gives you the chance to tell everyone about your favourite spots - and to browse those of other photo fans.

The map features dozens of popular - and not so popular - spots used by members of the camera club when aiming to capture our county on camera.

County Gazette editor, Paul Jones, said the idea came from the group itself.

"One of the club members mentioned that it would be great if there was a place for photographers to list their favoutire spots for taking pictures," he said.

"So I had a look around and created a simple online map that people can add their own locations to.

"I hope it helps for people keen to capture that special shot, or if people are visiting and fancy somewhere scenic to visit."

The Somerset Camera Club was launched in March last year and now boasts more than 1,300 members.
