A MAN had to be airlifted to hospital following a serious crash near Ilminster this morning (Tuesday, December 12).
Ambulance crew were called to Sugg's Lane in Broadway at 7.37am where they found one casualty, a male patient with a possible broken leg.
A spokesman for the South West Ambulance Service Trust said: "We attended with one rapid response vehicle, an ambulance and the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance was called.
"The patient was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol by helicopter."
