Witness appeal after man discovered with mysterious 'serious' head injuries
A MAN in Chard has been left with serious head injuries - but it is not known how it happened.
Avon and Somerset Police is appealing for witnesses after the man was found at around 9.30pm on October 28.
He was discovered on a footpath in Old Town near to its junction with Bradfield Way.
A spokesman said: "He had serious head injuries but it is not known how this happened.
"He received hospital treatment for his injuries.
"He is thought to have been walking in the direction of Millfield and was wearing a red T-shirt and blue jeans.
