TRAFFIC: Motorcyclist suffers serious injuries after crash on A303 by Horton, near Ilminster
A MOTORCYCLIST has been rushed to hospital after suffering serious injuries in a crash on A303.
Drivers are currently facing delays after the crash, which happened shortly after 4pm, with the road partially blocked near Ilminster.
The crash was on the A303 near Horton, west of Southfields roundabout.
A spokesman for Avon and Somerset police said: "We were called at about 4pm to a crash on A303 near Southfields roundabout.
"A motorcyclist, a man, was in a roadside ditch and he was reported to have head injuries and serious leg injuries.
"There was no suggestion of other vehicles involved."
Traffic is currently moving slowly in the area.
