JUST in case anyone in Bishops Lydeard was unaware - as if! - this huge yarn bomb creation has gone up in the village to remind everyone it's Somerset Day on Thursday.
Kathy Ford, who has been co-ordinating events in Lydeard to celebrate the occasion, said: "We have just put up our largest item yet - it is over four metres high.
"There are around 20 people in our group and it has done a lot to bring people together and we all feel a great community spirit in the village.
"It is so great to walk around the village and see people looking at the yarnbomb and smiling.
"This picture was very much a group effort, with several people making triangles and pictures."
What are you doing for Somerset Day?
