ALL Great Western trains running between Taunton and Bristol, and Weston-super-Mare and Bristol, were suspended after an incident on the line earlier.
The announcement came following an incident on the rail line, in which a person had been hit by a train.

Due to a person being hit by a train at Nailsea and Backwell all lines were blocked. Disruption was expected until around 1.15pm.
The line has now reopened and is running as normal.
Around 11am, Great Western Railway announced that train services between Weston-super-Mare and Bristol Temple Meads may be cancelled, delayed or revised.
First Bus, Cross Country and The Buses of Somerset were accepting Great Western Railway rail tickets during the track closure.
