CHILDREN from Shepton Beauchamp School and pre-school have each donated £25 towards the village’s defibrillator fund.
The whole village are raising funds to buy two defibrillators. One will be located at the recreation ground and the second at the village hall.
Various village groups and villagers are raising money towards the defibrillators.
Angela Joy from the village last year swam the equivalent of a cross channel swim to raise money for the village church, this year her ‘swim back’ is raising money towards the defibrillators.
She is hoping to complete 1,462 lengths of a 25m pool.
