DO YOU have questions for the top cop in Avon and Somerset? Here is your chance to ask.

Chief constable Andy Marsh will be taking part in a live video with police and crime commissioner Sue Mountstevens on January 24.

PCC Sue Mountstevens is asking people to submit questions ahead of the live video at 5pm.

She said: “Once again we’ve had some really interesting questions submitted from residents ranging from fraud to police morale. I’d like to thank everyone for taking the opportunity to put their local policing questions to the chief constable. I want to represent your views in local policing and I can only do that if you tell me what matters most to you.

“We are still trialling this format and scheduling the live videos at difference times of the day to see what works best for local people. The live video is not replacing face-to-face meetings. I’m still keen to meet local people and to hold events where residents can ask questions of the police. My next public forum is in Yeovil on February 2.”

The topic of discussion throughout the 30-minute live video will be based around a number of themes including fraud, body worn video cameras, tasers and rural crime and will end by taking a selection of other questions that have been submitted.

The webchat will be broadcast on Facebook live via the following link www.facebook.com/AandSPCC

You can submit your questions by emailing them to pcc@avonandsomerset.pnn.police.uk or by calling 01275 816377.

You can also send your questions on Facebook or on Twitter using the hashtag #PCCinconvo.
