SHOWERS and gale-force winds look set to give the weekend a fresher feel across Somerset.
Met Office forecasters are predicting heavy and blustery showers today for the county, with winds growing stronger into Saturday and Sunday, particularly in coastal areas.
A forecaster said to expect rain throughout Friday.

"The afternoon will then see some heavy and blustery showers and winds will become especially strong around the coasts."
Temperatures would still reach around 22C, he said, while overnight into Saturday was looking increasingly mixed.
