THE WINDOWS of Taunton pub Crown and Sceptre were smashed with a baseball bat in the early hours of this morning.
The landlord of the pub, which is on the corner of Station Road and Priory Bridge Road, told the County Gazette that someone smashed the windows in with a baseball bat at 4.24am today (June 3).
The police have been approached for a comment.
Following a clear up this morning, the pub has opened to customers and the smashed glass has been removed from the window frames.
