THE Brewhouse's spring collection has sprung a magnificent exhibition from Creative Coverage.
Work from five members from this renowned group is on display from now until the end of April - and its an exhibition not to be missed.
Several of the artists will be at The Brewhouse on Wednesday, March 16 (1.30pm-3.30pm) to speak about their artwork on display.
IT's a great chance to get up close and personal with some of the most admired artists in the country. The afternoon event will include the artists talking about the methods and techniques they use, the inspiration behind the work and also the story that each piece has.
The featured artists include: sculptor Peter Hayes trained at Birmingham College of Art and now resides in Bath. His work is in public collections throughout the world.
Award winning Dorset based sculptor Moira Purver is an elected full member of the Society of Women Artists and a trustee of Purbeck Art Weeks.
Cornwall based Painter Joanna Commings is an elected member of The South West Academy. Joanna works mainly in acrylics, which she loves "for their versatility and flexibility" on handmade watercolour papers, canvas or board.
David Shanahan, oil painting. David lives in Devon and studied painting at Kingston School of Art, and later, as a mature student at Dartington Collage of Art.
Devon based Mary Gillett trained in Bristol and Brighton and holds a BA(Hons) in Fine Art, a PGCE and a Postgraduate Diploma in printmaking.
