CHARD is set for a day of sunshine and rain as this morning's drizzle gives way to a dry afternoon.
In their South West summary, Met Office said: "It will be a cloudy morning with some outbreaks of light rain and drizzle.
"During the afternoon brighter spells will develop with a few showers following later. A windy day with gales at times."
The maximum temperature is set to reach around 13°C, before falling to a minimum of 7°C overnight.
Tomorrow's forecast said: "Tuesday looks bright but blustery with long sunny spells.
"There may be one or two showers but most should stay dry. Through the day the winds will ease."
The temperature is set to peak at around 9°C.
