THREE fire crews were called to Ilchester this morning after reporters of a cooker fire.
The crews, from Yeovil and Martock, were called to the scene Limington Road, Ilchester, at 11.55am today.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue service said: "Shortly after arriving crews confirmed the fire, in the ground floor kitchen of a two storey privately rented property, was out on our arrival.
"Crews isolated the cooker, which sustained 50% damage by fire, and ventilated the property, before leaving duty of care with the owner awaiting a gas engineer.
"No persons were involved or injured, there was no other damage and the cause was confirmed as accidental."
