POLICE, ambulance and fire service were all called to a head on collision between two cars in Merriott last night.
The Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said there were "walking wounded" who were taken to hospital as a precaution.
The fire crew from Crewkerne were called to the scene in Tail Mill Lane, Merriott yesterday (November 27) at 10.40pm by an ambulance already attending.
Upon arrival on the scene the Avon and Somerset Fire and Rescue service confirmed there were no persons trapped in the vehicles.
The crew made the vehicles safe, before leaving duty of care with the Police.
