ENMORE Park golfer David Dixon regained his European Tour card after finishing on 11 under at the Final Qualifier in Spain.

Dixon finished tied ninth at PGA Cataluyna to secure his return to golf’s big time, seven shots behind eventual winner Adrian Otaegui.

Paul Dunne also secured his card after finishing in a share of 13th place and another Irishman, Damien McGrane failed to secure a card after a closing 78.

Spaniard Adrian Otaegui, American Daniel Im and South Africa's Ulrich Van Den Berg led the qualifiers on 18 under.

England's former Madrid Masters winner Ross McGowan secured his tour return as he shared fourth spot despite a closing 74.

Another Englishmen, Richard McEvoy also regained their cards after finishing on 11 under while Italy's 2010 Ryder Cup player Eduardo Molinari will join his brother Francesco on the circuit next season after a closing 69 moved him up to a share of 24th.
