PREDICTIONS of rain over the next few days have been blown away with sunshine and clouds now set to last through to Monday.

In their South West summary, Met Office said: "After a chilly start it will be a dry day for most with plenty of pleasantly warm sunny spells. Cloud will bubble up in places during the day allowing a few, locally heavy, showers to develop."

The maximum temperature today is set to be 15°C, before dropping to a minimum of 5°C overnight.

In the forecast for tomorrow, the met Office said: "After a chilly night a fine and dry day will develop with patchy cloud and plenty of sunny spells. It'll feel pleasantly warm in the sunshine as winds remain light."

As for the the weekend, they have said: "Through the next few days it will remain dry with patchy cloud and plenty of sunny spells. It will however become windy and feel rather cool with some chilly nights."
