PUPILS from St Andrew’s Primary School at Chardstock visited Ferne Animal Sanctuary at Wambrook, near Chard, to check out the new pond dipping area.
The youngsters were able to get up close to nature and discover the wildlife living within the pond.
They were joined by Ferne’s chief executive Elaine Hayes and estates worker Julian Matthews in their pond dipping activities.
