FRIDAY night’s charity ball raised over £10,000 for local charity Stand Against Violence.

More than 220 people attended the annual ball which was held at the Somerset County Cricket Ground.

Adam Fouracre, founder and CEO of Stand Against Violence said: “The ball was a huge success and highly enjoyable.

“Everyone who attended had a thoroughly good night and in the process we exceeded our £10,000 target for our 10th year anniversary.”

Stand Against Violence would like to thank everyone who contributed to the ball through donations to the auction, raffle and goodie bags as well as the fantastic team who made the night possible. Santander match funded the evening which took the total to well in excess of our target.

The charity is all ready planning for next year’s ball and they hope to see everyone again next year.
