Somerset shopping centre introduces 'texting lanes'
THE Clarks Village designer shopping outlet has become the first retail centre in the UK to introduce dedicated 'texting lanes' to allow the safer and more efficient use of mobile and smartphones by people walking along busy malls.
The texting lanes, which are clearly marked throughout the village, also feature innovative signal boosting technology built into the lanes to ensure users never lose signal whilst on the move.
