COMBE St Nicholas parish clerk has informed residents of the felling of a significant tree in the village.
Anne Hunt said: “The very big Copper Beech tree in the centre of Combe St Nicholas has been taken down. This tree is iconic to Combe's village centre, but unfortunately due to a very virulent fungus attach in the autumn, the tree had to be felled.”
