HOLYROOD Academy unveiled its very own art installation inspired by the display at the Tower of London.
Head of Art, Kate Cumberland, and her team created a display of over 300 ceramic poppies in the foyer.
Students were guided through the creation of their clay poppies at workshops held in the art department, and had the chance to learn about the inspiration behind Paul Cummins' display.
Mrs Cumberland said: “This installation is a perfect demonstration for our students to understand how they can contribute to a whole school art project.
“Every one of the poppies is an essential part of the display and this stunning effect would not have been achieved without everyone's valuable effort.”
The Holyrood poppies will be on sale to the students who made them and then anyone else thereafter.
