A PARADE through Taunton town centre to the war memorial at Vivary Park marked Remembrance Sunday in the county town today.
Veterans joined service personnel, civil organisations, uniformed groups and hundreds of members of the public for a service at the memorial in the park.
A silence was observed and wreaths were laid in memory of the fallen.
The occasion was especially poignant as this year marks the centenary of the outbreak of the First World War.
