THESE children from North Town Primary School will soon become stars of the small screen – after being filmed for an educational video that will be used worldwide.
A team from Create Development visited the school last week to film pupils taking part in FUNS – the fundamental movement skills programme – which involves completing a series of increasingly challenging physical tasks.
FUNS aims to develop agility, balance and coordination skills, to help pupils get more involved in physical education and sport.
Ronnie Heath, Create Development managing director, said: “It was a real delight working with the children and staff of North Town.
“Mark Templeton (PE subject leader) and his team are truly refining what's possible with 'real PE' where every child is included, engaged, challenged and supported."
The completed film will be used by teachers and children in more than 7,000 schools across the country and abroad.
