Avon and Somerset Police to honour fallen colleagues
AVON and Somerset Police will honour colleagues who have lost their lives in the call of duty this weekend.
On Sunday morning, there will be a private service at the constabulary’s headquarters in Portishead, followed by a parade and church service in Weston-super-Mare town centre.
The events will mirror a national memorial event, which this year is being held in Belfast.
Acting Chief Constable John Long will be representing Avon and Somerset at the event in Belfast.
