Combe St Nicholas cyclist wins gold at national time time championships
A PROMISING cyclist from Combe St Nicholas is celebrating after adding a national time trial championship to his bronze medal at the Junior National Road Race Championships last month.
Tom Baylis, 18, won gold in the National Junior 10-mile Time Trial Championship in a time of 20 minutes and 15 seconds.
The former Wadham School student took the title in Warwickshire on Saturday.
He is now looking forward to making the step up to the senior ranks next year.
