WITH only days until the deadline for the Somerset Business Awards there’s no time like the present to submit your entry.
Celebrating its tenth year of honouring outstanding business success, and with an increased number of entries to date, the competition is hotter than ever.
Winners of a Somerset Business Award often say their business improved after winning an award from both a financial and reputational point of view.
Speaking at the recent awards workshop, Nik Harwood, of the Somerset Rural Youth Project, said: “Winning a Somerset Business Award has been an incredible boost for our organisation.
“It has been the driving force behind us being so successful securing Government and private grants, and has given our employees and volunteers the recognition they deserve for their amazing work.”
With a reputation as one of the most important events in the Somerset business calendar, shortlisted businesses will be invited to an exclusive black tie dinner at Westland Conference and Leisure Complex, Yeovil, on Friday, October 17.
Sponsored by businesses including main sponsor Albert Goodman, the awards recognise and celebrate outstanding and diverse businesses.
Entries close at midday on August 29 – visit www.somersetbusinessawards.org.uk Follow the awards on Twitter at @SomBizAwards for all the latest news with #SBA2014.
