DOCTORS at the Church View Medical Centre in Broadway have signed off on a new surgery after operating from portable buildings since 1998.

The work, carried out by Helm Construction, had to be carried out without any disruption to services.

Practice manager Pam Wreford said: “We had ambitious plans for our new surgery but were acutely aware we had to maintain services to our patients while the work was being carried out.

“We have had a huge amount of positive feedback from patients and neighbours, who were pleased to see how well the new facilities have blended into the village.”

The building has been designed to serve up to 3,000 patients but it would be possible to add a second storey if demand exceeds this.
