CHILDREN from Greenfylde, Swanmead and Wadham schools have shared their ideas about Ilminster with the town council.
A group of children from the schools met Cllr Val Keitch, Cllr Sophie Storey and town clerk Joy Norris to discuss issues ranging from the development of the Recreation Ground to road repairs and the location of bus stop shelters.
Greenfylde head teacher Claire Oaten, who organised the event, said it was good for young people in Ilminster to engage with the council.
She added: “The young people involved took their role very seriously and we were all proud of the way they talked about their town.
It gives great hope for our future citizens of Ilminster.”
